The production order sequencer is an essential planning and scheduling tool used in production management. To achieve this, the sequencer analyzes various factors, such as machine availability, machine performance, material availability and order delivery dates, among others. The sequencer uses advanced scheduling algorithms to optimally allocate production orders, considering constraints such as setup times and tool changes, customer priorities and inventory policies. In addition, it can dynamically adapt to changes in demand, production interruptions or unforeseen events, automatically rescheduling orders to always minimize the impact on efficiency and on-time performance.
